Quito’s old town is a UNESCO designated site filled with historical monuments, picturesque plazas, and a wealth of architectural treasures. These fascinating sites are the main reason why people spend time in Quito. We are located on the northern edge of the centro historico or “old town.” We believe that a new city can best be experienced and explored on foot. This makes our central location ideal for backpackers who like to walk everywhere. We provide a comfortable base from which you can visit all of Quito’s historical attractions. We are a comfortable 15 minute walk to La Ronda’s galleries and shops and then a short stroll on to the Palacio del Gobierno (Presidential Palace) and the other museums and plazas.
